Title:

"The Possessed"

Airdate:

May 4, 1994

Synopsis:

An emotionally troubled young man is possessed by an ancient Chinese demon intent on destruction.

Paul's Scenes:

He's in three or four, but none of them are very long or very significant.  My favorite is the one in his office where he and Peter are talking to Nickie about the autopsy report.  It has a nice shot of his hands.

Comments:

Geraint Wyn Davies, who starred as Nick Knight in "Forever Knight", played Lawrence.

Bernard Behrens, who played the monsignor, also appeared in "Sunday at the Hotel with George".  He was the man George forced to hack into the hotel's computer system so he could have access to the safe.

I liked how Paul got after Peter for being disrespectful to the priests.  Peter should know better since he faced so much religious discrimination in his own life.

In the first scene Paul was in, where he and Peter were at the church after the first death, he was wearing that great wool overcoat that I love.  In the last scene he was back to the gray trenchcoat.

Other than his overcoats, I can't say I liked his clothes very much.  They seem to be getting worse as the series goes along.  At least he hasn't worn the long, gray parka in awhile. <g>

In the scene where Paul entered the gallery after Caine had fought the demon, I liked how his eyes automatically scanned the room before going over to them.

Favorite Quote:

I didn't have one for this episode.

Pet Peeves:

I pretty much thought the entire episode was absurd.

RL Factor:

Considering how ill he looked in the last couple of episodes, I thought his appearance in this one was much better.
