RL's Character:

Chief Peter O'Farrell

Favorite Scene:

The one between Cragen and O'Farrell in O'Farrell's house.

Favorite Line:

Adam Shiff (to Stone and Robinette):  "O'Farrell's a better politician than I am.  If he wasn't a cop, he'd be President."

Comments:

This is one of RL's guest appearances that I don't watch that often, mostly because he's not in it very much.  I had forgotten how good he looked in it until I was watching it again for this review.  He smiles a lot, which is always a nice treat, and he wears great clothes.  I especially liked the camel overcoat he wore in the street scene with Cragen.  It was also nice to see him dressed more casually in the scene at O'Farrell's home when he was wearing the navy sweater.  I loved the way he had the sleeves pushed up.

David Leary, the actor who played Congressman Wilson's attorney, was in The Equalizer episode "Dead Drop" as Lawseth.

RL Factor:

Very good, particularly if you like him later in his career.

Availability:

This episode is available on VHS, and on DVD as part of the complete first season box set.
