IN MEMORY

Robert Frederick Orin Lansing
(August 26, 1957 - July 26, 2009)

It is with deep regret and sadness that I'm passing along the news that RL's son Bob passed away this past summer from complications of pneumonia. He was 51 years old.

Bob came to New York to meet with the Pilgrims in June 2008 and it was a pleasure to meet him. He was a quiet, almost shy man, and a very gifted guitarist.

He is survived by his wife Michelle, sister Aly Lansing West, uncle Bruce Brown, aunt Katherine Brown, and three nieces.

LATEST NEWS

There's been quite a bit of DVD news since I last updated the site. The third season of Simon & Simon, which contains RL's first episode as PI Sam Penny, was released in August. Also, the third season of Mannix was released in October and it contains RL's first appearance on that show, an episode called "Blind Mirror". His appearance on The Donna Reed Show is scheduled to be released in May, and the complete set of Thriller is tentatively scheduled to be released in October. Also, both the first seasons of Hotel and One Step Beyond have been released and hopefully we'll get to RL's appearances on those shows eventually.

Two commercials that RL did for Eckerd Drug Stores are up on You Tube. Just go there and you can find them by doing a search. Great stuff!

Sadly, the magnificent Edward Woodward, who brought Robert McCall (The Equalizer) and so many other unforgettable characters to life, passed away on November 16. He was 79.

Also, Paul Burke, who took over the lead from RL in 12 O'Clock High, passed away on September 13, 2009. He was 83.
