Widow
Widow was a made-for-TV movie that was based on the best-selling book of the same name.  It was written by Lynn Caine, a publicist who lost her husband to cancer at the age of 44.  The book was published in May 1974 and detailed Caine's struggles to raise her two small children while trying to cope with the loss of her husband.  The movie aired on NBC on January 22, 1976, and starred Michael Learned in the title role.  Farley Granger played her husband Martin Caine.

Widow was produced by Philip Capice and Lee Rich, who later went on to be the executive producers of Dallas, the hugely-successful primetime soap opera.  It was directed by J. Lee Thompson who directed numerous feature films, including The Guns of Navarone and Cape Fear, both starring Gregory Peck.

The movie is not available on either VHS or DVD, and, unfortunately, I do not have a copy of it in my personal collection.
